Faith Formation News and Announcements
Faith Formation Registration
Registration for Faith Formation classes for the 2020–2021 school year is now open. There are two ways to register this year:
- You can register online by clicking here and filling out the online form (por favor haga clic aquí para obtener el formulario en español). Please note that if you choose to register online, you will still need to submit both the registration fee and the child health forms to the parish office. This can be done in person or by mail. More information is given at the end of the online registration form.
- You can also pick up a physical copy of the registration form to fill out and submit. The forms can be found at the bulletin board in the church narthex. One health form is attached to each registration form and there is a stack of extra health forms so that you can take as many as you need for however many children you are enrolling.
The deadline for registration is Sunday, August 30. Faith Formation classes are scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 13. If you have any questions, please contact the Director of Religious Education, Paul Kankiewicz. For more information on our Faith Formation classes here at St. Elizabeth, click here.
Faith Formation Teachers Needed
Teachers Needed! We are looking for volunteers to be Faith Formation teachers for the coming school year of 2020–2021. Teaching our Catholic faith to our children is one of the most important duties we have. We are in need of new lead catechists, assistant catechists, and back-up catechists. If you are interested in helping to hand on the faith to the next generation, please contact our Director of Religious Education, Paul Kankiewicz.
The next meeting of the St. Elizabeth high school youth group will be Saturday, August 1, at 5:45 PM, after the Vigil Mass. If you are entering grades 8–12, please join us for a night of food, fellowship, and fun! Dinner will be provided.
Faith Formation Textbook Return
If any student still has their Faith & Life Series student textbook at home with them, we ask that it please be returned to the church as soon as possible. We are preparing to purchase new books for the upcoming school year and it is important to get an accurate number of how many we can reuse. There is a box at the main entrance in which to drop them off, as well as office entrance downstairs. Thank you for your cooperation.
